It is the practical realization of an approach. Methods include various procedures and
techniques as part of their standard fare.

10. What is a procedure?


It is an ordered sequence of techniques. A procedure is a sequence that can be
described in terms such as first you do this, then you do that... Smaller than a method
and bigger than technique.

11. What is a technique?


It is a classroom device or activity and thus represents the narrowest of the four
concepts.

12. What is the relation among an approach, a method, and a technique?


An approach determines a method. A method determines a technique. The
arrangement is hierarchical. The organizational key is that techniques carry out a
method which is consistent with an approach.

13. What do we have to be aware of before teaching a class?


The type of students we are going to teach the class to.

14. Types of teachers:


-Explainer: It is the one who knows a lot about the subject but does not know much
about constructivism.
Involver: It is the one who knows very well the subject but he is concerned about the
students ́ learning.
Enabler: It is the one who is more conscious of the teaching process.
