Ethernet Digital Radio

The SRC 155A series of Point-to-Point digital radios deliver highly flexible and reliable solutions
for nxE1 (up to 64xE1) and nxE3 (up to 4xE3) in PDH hierarchy; STM1 in SDH hierarchy; up to
156Mbps in Layer 2 Ethernet communication. The operating frequency bands are 7, 8, 10.5, 15
and 26 GHz (ITU)

Below you can find some of the specifications:

Software-select data capacity, modulation type, RF channel frequency, protection mode, output
RF power and test facilities for operator requirements.

By means of the plug-and-play modules make it highly agile and scalable radio. Service providers
can change the system architecture that meets current requirements, and then adapt their
networks to accommodate new applications.

The RF units are placed in ODY (Outdoor Unit) and signal processing unites are placed in IDU
(Indoor Unit). This divided architecture gives very flexible installation and usage features.

Efficient built-in diagnostics and optional comprehensive network management software

SRCYM deliver sustainable operating cost advantages and require reduced real estate
investment.

A scalable embedded multiplexer/dumultiplexer allows operators to eliminate expensive

external mux equipment. This facility is optionally available from 16xE1 up to 64xE1 channels in
PDH level 1 and from 1xE3 up to 4xE3 channels in PDH level 3.

SRX 155A system can be managed and monitored by using any SNMP element or network
manager.

Technical Specifications
Key Features  Standard ITU-R licensed bands (7, 8, 10.5, 15 and 26 GHz)
 Mixed Mode working capability delivers PDH, SDH and/or Ethernet transport over same radio
(16-32-64E1, 1-2-4xE3, STM1-o, Gigabit Ethernet)
 Optional data interface cards complaint to IEEE 802.3 & ITU-T G.703 standards
 1+0, 1+1 protection with hitless switching feature (frequency and space diversity) and 2+0
working modes are available.
 Separate IDU and ODU are connected with single coaxial cable (RG-214) for 1+0, with two
coaxial cables for 1+1 architectures.
 Optimization of bandwidth efficiency with selectable modulation type depending on data rate

Installation  Indoor Unit(IDU) occupies 2U 19 rack mounting space for 1+0 and 1+1 configurations
 Outdoor Unit (ODU) was designed for outdoor installation (weatherproof) but can also be
mounted indoors.
 ODU can be attached directly to the antenna up to 6 feet dish diameter.

Others  Built-in SNMP based control mechanism enables to reach all radios via order wire channel of link.
This facility helps monitoring and controlling of radios in link
 Convenient setup, monitoring and configuration of any radio in the network via built-in graphical
WEB interface and VT-100 terminal program
 156 Mbps airlink capacity, within 28 MHz channel bandwidth
 Single (or two) 50 ohm coaxial cables(s) between IDU and ODU
 Software selectable modulation schemes: QPSK, 16 QAM, 32 QAM, 64 QAM, 128 QAM and 256 QAM
 Flexible Forward Error Correction (FEC) schemes optimize RF bandwidth and system gain.
 The Automatic Transmit Power Control (ATPC) facility at transmitter
 The XPIC mode doubles the pay load capacity (up to 311 Mbps) within same RF Channel
