Wedding Final
Wedding Script
Josh: Love fills a moment and the moment begins eternity.
Josh: The long wait has come! Today marks another milestone in the lives of the newly wed as we celebrate ther
grandiose wedding celebration.
Darell: I’d seen how unbelievably beautiful and handsome these lads and lasses just for a special occasion.
Both: Friends, relatives, sponsors, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to _________________ Wedding Celebration.
Josh: In this juncture, we shall be witnessing the parade of the wedding entourage. I knew this has been a great day
for us, some were perhaps exhausted. But allow us still to welcome the people who victoriously shared love to thee
newly wedded couple. Lets welcome with great delight the kids who made this wedding day very blissful.
FLOWER GIRLS (cute and adorable), RING BEARER, COIN BEARER, LITTLE GROOM, LITTLE BRIDE
Darrell: To all these kids I must say good job. Again, may we give them a resounding applause.
Josh: Secondary Sponsors ( Next, let’s welcome the fresh and young secondary sponsors)
CANDLE SPONSORS ( they are ones who symbolically lit the ciuple’s path)
VEIL SPONSORS ( they are the ones who clothe the newly wedded as one)
CHORD SPONSORS ( they are the ones who symbolically bound the pair together)
BEST MAN( gallant and good-looking) AND MAID OF HONOR (stunning and beautiful)
We saw the fresh and young, let’s now proceed to the people we are with us: they are the young at heart and spirit;
the very gracious and generous Principal Sponsors.
One of the parents dreams is too see the wedding day of their children. I am sure our couple’s parents are equally
excited as them. Let us now recognize these very special people in the hearts of the newlt wed.
Doesn’t she look beautiful? She’s been practicing her bouquet-throwing and hopes to give account of herself when the
moment comes.
As for the groom, have a glance on him, machong-macho di ba? Ladies and gentlemen, may we give a roaring clap of
hands to our newly wed- Mr and Ms _________.
Thank you very much. Let’s all be seated now. Truly, this event will be a celebration of love, a feast of two hearts who
vowed to stay forever no matter what life may give.
OPENING PRAYER
To officially start, let us beseech the presence of the Lord through an invocation to be led by ______________.
Josh: Well, I guessed the food is now ready and lunch will commence shortly. To maintain an order, I’ll be calling
your table number so as to proceed in the buffet counter.
Darell: We would like to thank the ________________________________ for the wonderful accommodation and
services that they are providing us here. The newly wedded couple would also like to say a special thanks for
supervising in the physical arrangement of our reception.
Josh: Habang nasasatisfy ang ating taste buds samasasarap na pagkain, please have time to glance and enjoy watching
because we shall be entertained thru an audio visual presentation (A-same-day edit)
Darell: At this point, I hope everyone’s attention is in the couple as they do the cake cutting tradition. Bakit kaya may
mga ganitong eksena pag may kasal? Well, ayon sa aking research, the cake cutting symbolizes the couple’s unity,
sweetness, shared future, and life together as one.
WINE TOAST
Josh: this time let’s fill our glasses with any drink that we could get and join the couple in the symbolic wine toast.
Para sa mahabang pagsasama, puno ng pagmamahalan, pag-uunawaan at pagbibigayan. Maligayang bati Mr and Ms
_____________________________. Cheeeeeeeeeers!
Josh: This time, let’s see them hold two doves; please take them out of the cage. Then, they will make those lovely
doves kiss each other. (Picture)
White doves are symbol of joy, using photos of doves in the day’s décor is definitely appropriate. Superstition also
suggests that couples who see a pair of doves on their wedding day will have a blessed marriage, which is a wonderful
sentiment for the new couple to keep in mind when starting a new life together.
BOUQUET CEREMONY
Darell: Okey, now it’s time for a little fun, because it’s time for the traditional throwing of the bouquet.
Game. ( But before that, we shall be having a game. Requesting all the secondary sponsors to come forward)
GARTER GAME
Josh: let’s call on this time all the gentlemen. I have here a bottle of wine. Masubukan lang kung sino ang malakas na
uminom. Hehe. In one minute, paunahan kayong makakaubos o maconsume ang wine in your glasses. Okey, let’s do
it. ( 1, 2,3)
Sinong unang nakaubos? Palakpakan. Sino ang konti ang naconsume? Ikaw ang maswerteng good boy.
Before we proceed in the Garter toss, the groom is to retrieve the garter from his bride. So may we request the newly
wed to please come at the center stage and do the retrieval ritual.
Ladies and gentlemen, the groom will now retrieve the garter from the bride.
There you have it ladies and gentlemen; the groom was finally able to retrieve the garter. Let’s give them a hand
please.
Darell: alright, let’s have the pair here. Lady, kindly take your seat. Gentleman, you are now going to to put the garter
on the lady’s leg.
Pictorial follows.

CROWD ACTIVITY
Why don’t we start off by wishing our newly wedded couple a happy marriage. Pag sinabi kong HAPPY, you would
all say MARRIAGE. When I say BEST, you’ll reply WISHES.
Yess, the crowd has spoken. May your marriage be as happy and beautiful as your wedding.
The day and this reception have almost come to an end but for our newlywed, it is just a start of their new life together.
As we each go home, may this day be memorable for all of us as it is to them. To personally convey their heartfelt
gratitude let us now lend an ear to Mr and Mrs ________________.
