Rationale:
Schedules are created based on requirement and volume of transactions. If a Customer Service Representative (CSR) does not
adhere to this schedule, there is a gap in coverage that can significantly increase the workload of other CSRs who are adhering to
their schedules to cover for the volume. This can result in delayed transactions, dissatisfied members and/or lost revenue.
Strict adherence to work schedules allows us to meet the staffing requirements and process the customers’ requests in a timely
manner.
Coverage:
All the days covered within December 1, 2018 - December 31, 2018 shall be considered as Critical Work Days due to high business
demand.
All employees that are scheduled to work on days declared as CRITICAL WORK DAYS will hereby be subject to the conditions
enumerated in this memorandum.
Policy:
Any employee who does not report on a Critical Work Day when scheduled (regardless of the number of days), will be required to
submit a Medical Certificate or any other pertinent document/s, as the case may be, to validate the absence.
Failure to present such document/s render the absence as UNAUTHORIZED and the employee will be subject to corrective action up
to and including termination of employment. Prescriptive period in our Code of Disciplinary Actions will apply. If an employee has
incurred a previous infraction of unauthorized absence within the prescriptive period, the next higher penalty shall apply.

Moreover, leave applications will automatically be denied and all previously approved leaves are likewise automatically recalled and

Effectively:
This memorandum shall take effect on the day specified unless superseded by a mandate from management.
