The 1st step to start with Affiliate Marketing is choosing a Profitable Niche.

What is a Niche?

Niche is like a small Category or Topic of a larger market that has its own
specific wants and needs.

Example: “Weight Loss” is a Niche in Health and Fitness Market.

Why Niche is important?

If you want to become a successful affiliate, finding the right niche is very
important. Choose a niche that you’re passionate about. If you’re not
interested in paintball equipment, no matter how popular it is, you’re simply
not going to put the effort and energy into it the same way you would for a
niche you’re already interested in, or even passionate about.

It also helps if you already have expertise in the niche you choose. Don’t let
the lack of experience discourage you though if you’ve found a niche you’re
truly interested in. You can learn about a niche and still become an affiliate
any product owner will be glad to have on their team.

Your Profitable Niche :

Your Hobbies, your Interest, things you know, your knowledge, any topic
excites you to discuss, all this can be a niche. Just search on google on
that topic and if there is enough query/demand, any product available on
that niche then that niche is profitable.

Step 2: Find Products To Sell

Finding a product is very easy. Just follow the simple formula.
In the google search bar type ​Your Niche + Affiliate Programme.
Example - ​If your niche is ​“Weight Loss”​ then type ​Weight Loss Affiliate
Programme ​and google will show you a ton of affiliate products related to
the Weight Loss niche.

One Time vs Recurring Affiliate Commission

Before proceeding more about finding the product lets talk about The Affiliate

Commission.

There are two types of products you can choose from. One gives a ​One-time​ affiliate

commission and the other one gives a ​Recurring​ commission.

If it’s one-time I prefer to choose a product that at least gives you $100 commission.

For recurring, you can proceed with $15 or more.

It takes the same effort to sell a product no matter if it’s a $1, $5 or $100 product. Here

is simple math -

If you choose a $5 Product to sell you need 200 sells to make $1000

But

If you choose a $100 product only 10 sales can make it $1000

Always look for a product that can give a recurring commission. Because you need to

sell that product once only and if the customer retains you will earn recurring

commission on that product.

When you join any marketplace as affiliate and choose your product you’ll be given a

This link doesn’t look nice nor it’s easy to remember. The link looks spammy. So how to

shorten and modify the link​?

Here comes the term​ ​Link Cloaking​.

Link cloaking is a method used to make a long affiliate URL link into a shorter and

prettier one.

After cloaking my ClickFunnels affiliate link -​ ​pranay.cc/cf

I use ​ClickMagick​ for link cloaking and tracking my clicks and

conversion on that link.

You can use a free tool called ​Bitly​ to shorten the URL.

So you identify your niche, you choose a product & got the affiliate link.

Here comes the exciting part.

Promotion.

Initially, every beginner affiliate marketer starts posting their affiliate links in every

possible place.

Facebook Groups, Pages, Youtube comments.

But simply it does not work.

In every business, there is a system that runs and automates the business smoothly

and makes the business profitable in the long run.

In the same way, there is no difference in the Affiliate Marketing business too.

It’s also a business. So you must have a system and a strategy to make it a long term

profitable business.
