i’ve always been mezmorized by the power of storytelling
photography has the ability to convey. whether it was skimming
through my grandmothers national geographic magazine, or
TIME photos through history, i’ve always been drawn to the
visual medium.

i can’t think of a better way you could tell a story than weddings.
getting all of your loved ones together to celebrate the new
chapter in your life has such a raw, authentic emotion and energy
about it that lends itself to being able to create magic.

i’ve been told my photography captures the “decisive moment.”

the moment that occurs when the visual and psychological
elements of people in a real life scene spontaneously and briefly
come together in perfect resonance to express the essence of
that situation. weddings are full of precisely timed, unrepeatable
one-chance shots. some people believe that the unique purpose
of photography as compared to other visual arts, is to capture
this fleeting, quintessential, and holstic instant in the flow of life.

to put my photography as muhammad ali would say, “float like

a butterfly and sting like a bee.” we like to stay out of your way
