Clutch components and operating system:

The flywheel is bolted onto the rare side of the crankshaft.

The release bearing is operated by the fork.

Bell housing bolted to the block.

The gearbox input shaft is splined to carry the driven gear.

Pressure plate.

The tongues of the diaphragm spring are pointed inwards when the clutch pedal is depressed, the
release bearing pushes against the inner rim of the diaphragm, releasing clamping pressure on the
driven plate.

Clutch operation starts at the pedal it is connected to either a cable or a hydraulic master cylinder.

Slave cylinder.

The clutch cover plate is bolted onto the flywheel.
