LV07 light vehicle maintenance

PPE:

Firstly, in order to ensure my safety, I had first put some barrier this is to prevent harmful chemicals
from entering into my blood stream while working or repairing a vehicle. I had also put on some
goggles to prevent harmful chemicals from entering my eye ball whilst working under a car. Thirdly I
had also put on some steal toe capped boots to prevent heavy or sharp objects from destroying
toes, for example, if a car had dropped from a misplaced axel stand I would need steal toe capped
puts to stop the weight of the car destroying my toes.

Customer concerns:

 The customer was complaining about his gears having difficulty to change and the clutch
being difficult to engage. The customer was also concerned about abnormal noises coming
from the vehicle when being driven.

Next step:

 Drive the vehicle like the customer was driving it and listen for the same sound the customer
was talking about
 Pre-inspections on the vehicle (visual checks for any noticeable damages) note down
damages on pre-inspections sheet so you have proof that u didn’t add any extra damages a
and so the customer can’t say it was you who put them there.
