13
Financial Indicators Example - In/Out of the Money

Description
Which addresses are currently making or losing
money on their holdings? At what price points are the
largest concentrations of addresses?
Methodology
ITB segments the entire onchain investor base of a
given crypto asset into relevant groups based on the
cost of their positions and their relative difference
with current price.
Use
How many addresses are likely to sell if price reaches
a certain level because they would be bouncing back
to break even? Where do you place your stop losses?
What is a good price point to enter into this asset?

14
14
Financial Indicators Example - Bulls vs Bears

Description
How many players bought or sold more than 1% of
the crypto asset’s daily volume?
Methodology
ITB identifies the addresses that bought or sold more
than 1% of the volume traded in a 24h period.
Use
Is volume traded concentrated or diversified? What is
the sentiment of large traders of this asset? How has
this sentiment changed over time?
If Bulls = Bears, this is likely to be an OTC trade. If
Bulls>Bears, this likely should indicate a positive
signal, while the opposite is likely true

15
Ownership Indicators Example - Whales

Description
What is the size of large holders and their impact on
a crypto asset? In what direction is concentration
changing?
Methodology
ITB identifies all addresses that own more than 1% of
crypto asset - those whales with 300+ transactions
are defined as “high activity addresses”
Use
Is a crypto asset vulnerable to large sell-offs? Are
large owners accumulating or diversifying? Was a
major change in price caused by whale activity?

16
16
Ownership Indicators Example - HODLrs

Description
Is this an asset mainly held by passive or active
holders?
Methodology
iTB segments the entire investor base of an asset
based on their holding period - HODLrs are those
that have held the asset for 1+ years
Use
Is there enough liquidity in this asset? Are bullish or
bearish runs likely to last? Is price vulnerable to
news/events?

17
17
Network Indicators Example - East vs West

Description
Where (geographically) is the asset mostly traded?
Can we call it a global (evenly traded) asset?
Methodology
iTB sums all transactions with their timestamps and
classifies them as:
West: 60%+ traded from 10 AM to 10 PM UTC
East: 60%+ traded from 10 PM to 10 AM UTC
Use
Do you want to trade an asset whose activity mostly
happens while you sleep? What can be inferred about
your counterparties given their geographical location?

18
18
Social Indicators Example - Telegram Activity

Description
Telegram is one of the main avenues for crypto
investors to get more information about an asset and
to interact with the project’s team
Methodology
iTB tracks the evolution of Telegram members of
every crypto asset over time
Use
Is interest around the asset growing or shrinking?
