What Is Telemedicine?
• Telemedicine is the remote delivery of healthcare services, such as health
assessments or consultations, over the telecommunications infrastructure. It
allows healthcare providers to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients using
common technology, such as video conferencing and smartphones, without
the need for an in-person visit.
• This mode of healthcare service is getting rapidly popular all over the world
with the advancement of Digital Health and technologies like AI, IOT and
networking.
Telemedicine Market In India
• Telemedicine is called the future of healthcare facilities globally. Although this is growing
at a rapid pace in some developed countries, it’s still getting rooted in countries like India.
• Although Startups are coming up in India to work in this field, but there is currently no big
player in this area except for the Indian government, who is putting up telemedicine
centres all over India and trying to promote telemedicine through Ayushmann Bharat
Scheme.
Why Is Telemedicine Required In Schools?
• Such services are already being successfully provided in developed countries like
the USA. For more info visit: http://health-e-schools.com/. This is provided by
AMD Global Telemedicine, one of the largest telemedicine service provider
company in America.
• It's clear that school-based Telehealth is going to grow as telemedicine does, and
that means increased access, time saving for parents, and best of all, healthier and
happier kids.
Parents and Students would love
to have Telemedicine at School
• Every parent knows how quickly sickness can put a dent into a child's educational experience. Whether your kids
are in kindergarten or high school, if your child falls ill, it means a few days out of school to recover-and probably
a doctor's visit or two. However, now that Telehealth is making its way into schools, it's becoming easier to
diagnose children as soon as they begin showing symptoms.
• A trip to the school nurse can become equivalent in many ways to a specialist doctor’s office visit(Paediatrician,
Dentist, Psychologist, etc). Your child may even have a recovery plan before you can leave work to pick them up.
• By utilizing remote visits, schools save parents an initial trip to the doctor's office, and make filling a prescription
as easy as possible. Parents don't need to take off work to make sure kids get the care they need, and there's no
need to acquire a doctor's note for excused absences.
COMPANY NAME
AND LOGO
WHO ARE WE?
We are a group of dedicated bunch of people from diverse backgrounds (like IT,
Management and Medicine) passionate about working in the field of Telemedicine and
trying take the healthcare facilities in India at a higher level.
TEAM LEADERS :
• Schools can add this facility as a new service which would add a small amount in the
existing annual fee per student. Our Company’s fees for this service would be 4800 per
student per annum.(which comprises of 2400 for the equipments and software and
another 2400 for the panel of doctors). We recommend schools to add 1200 per annum
fees further for the school. This makes it 6k per child per annum or roughly 3% hike, if
the school charges 2 LPA.
Our Requirements
• The program must serve a minimum strength of at least
1000 students in the school.
