Title: Reach the unreached: A community based program thru literacy, health awareness, good
values and fun learning activities to the youth of Purok 4 Brgy. Bagasbas Daet, Camarines Norte

Subject: Literacy Training Services (TEAM Q)

Brief Description:

Students rely on the lesson that the facilitators give, develop their reading comprehension,
writing skills, and communication skills in any way it possible.

Number of participants/ students & facilitators:

The children was composed of 20 together with 20 facilitators

Objectives:

 Children share information on values (kabutihang asal).

 Children will give experiences in dealing with the sample situations.
 Children will perform sanitation with the help of the facilitators.
 Children will enhance and develop their reading comprehension, writing skills, counting,
spelling, and colouring.

Materials Needed: (may vary due to the children’s choice of activity)

 Colouring materials (crayons, pastel etc.)

 Laptop
 Pen touch
 Pencil
 Coupon band
 Manila paper
 Art papers

Lesson:

 Brainstorming of the facilitators on the flow of the session.

 Ask the children for the opening prayer. And give a brief summary on what to do.
 Divide the children according to the age: 3-5 yrs. old (health) 6-10 yrs. old (values) and
11-14 yrs. old (literacy)
 On the health group, children will perform hand washing, tooth brushing and watching of
health videos.
 On the other group which is the values, facilitators will tell a story or situations about good
values and children will share something they did that will show good deeds.
 And for the last group, the literacy, they will answer questions like reading, solving
problems, and spelling.
 Lastly, the evaluation of the facilitators about the learnings of the children and assessment
of what happen on the sessions. It also include here the recommendation of the facilitators
for effectiveness and efficiency of teaching.
