STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

This study aims to answer the following questions:

1.0 Demographic Profile of the Students

a) Age

b) Gender

c) Year Level

2.0 The probability of the factors that could affect the ABM and BSBA students in choosing their

career path

3.0 The possibility of risk that would occur in choosing business as their career in the future

4.0 The number of businesses that the students could venture

5.0 The probability that the students would be influenced by successful business persons in

their decision-making process towards their preferred business venture


SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

The study would assess and guide the students in choosing their future career path

through conducting some research pertaining to the information involve in their preferred role

model in their business venture. Researchers would exemplify the possible risk and complications

to provide further enlightenment to the students. This study would also introduce the

importance of making the right decision for their future success.

It is important for the students to be oriented in their future path specially the

students who major in business and would enter the business world in the future. The purpose

of this research is to provide the students more understanding through the know-how of starting

an effective and successful business. This is very significant especially for Accountancy Business

and Management (ABM) students and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA)

students in Saint Francis College- Guihulngan who wanted to be a business person and

entrepreneur someday.

This research developed the “Preferred Role Models of ABM and BSBA Students in Saint

Francis College- Guihulngan in their Business Venture” with the intent of profiting financially. A

business venture may also be considered a small business. Many ventures will be invested in by

one or more individuals or groups with the expectation of the business bringing in a financial gain

for all backers.

This research entitled “Preferred Role Models of ABM and BSBA Students in Saint Francis

College- Guihulngan in their Business Venture” will discuss that most business ventures are
created based on demand of the market or a lack of supply in the market and the influenced of

the successful business persons.

The main purpose of this study is to guide the ABM and BSBA students in Saint Francis

College- Guihulngan for the preparation for their future businesses. This study is also for the

future researcher’s enlightenment regarding the particular topic.


SCOPE AND DELIMITATION

This study covers the “Preferred Role Models of ABM and BSBA Students in Saint

Francis College- Guihulngan in their Business Venture” that the students major in business would

possibly choose as a career path in the future. The respondents are the ABM and BSBA students

in SFC-G. This study limits only on the particular topic of the preferred role models of the students

in their business venture in the future. Together with this is the further information all about the

possible preferred role models of the business students in their business venture in the business

world with its risk and complications. The research will also tackle a little bit about a career path

like the factors affecting the student’s decision making process, and the people that influence

the students.

Further questions regarding the career path of other students that does not major in

business are beyond the scope of the study. Because of variety of career paths of the students

exist, it was unfeasible for the scope of this study to cover.

The researchers will use survey questionnaires in gathering data for the basis of this

study. The questions are prior to the topic, personal questions are beyond the limitations of the

study.

The researchers also included the target time in gathering the data about the ABM

and BSBA student’s future business ventures.
