ACTIVITY
Description/ The month of November is set as the National Reading Month. As envision by the
Rationale department, the whole month will hold activities that will enhance students’ learning
capabilities and to develop their skills and potential as learners. Moreover, this views
that students should be introduced to reading and study habits. Malitbog National
High School headed by the language department faculty spearheaded culminating
activities of the said celebration.
Objectives 1. nurture good reading habits and develop essential reading and literacy skills in the
learners;
2. promote the Department’s Every Child a Reader Program (ECARP) in making Filipino
learners a generation of readers;
3. showcase the benefits of the existing reading programs of the region such as the
Reading Circle Encounter; and
4. develop love for reading and love for books among Filipino.

Program  This is a whole month activity where it is participated by student, teachers,

Outputs principal, and student teachers.
 A culmination of the activities was done on November 29,2019 to showcase
the winners in every category and parade of the chosen characters in every
grade level.
