Abraham Lincoln’s goal in fighting the civil war, instead of submitting to the will of the South was to end slavery and

its own nation, or that he should submit to what they wanted to do, but instead, he decided to fight, to eradicate slavery and
invite the country once and for all. It was a very difficult thing he undertook, but he was successful and ultimately his goal was
