Literal meanings

 Shower=a short period when it rains or snows


 Gloomy=dark in a way that makes you feel sad or a little afraid
 Gloomy weather
 A gloomy old library
 Hazy=not clear because there is smoke, dust, or water in the air
 Hazy sushine

Storming in

 To storm out/off/into=to go somewhere very quickly because you are angry or upset
 To breeze into/out/by=to go somewhere in a confident way, especially when you do not seem to
care what other people thing
 He breezed into the meeting and took charge.
 Under the weather
 To cool=if a feeling such as love or anger cools, it becomes less strong
 Warm=kind and friendly in a way that makes other people feel comfortable
 Warm welcome
 The hotel extends a warm welcome to overseas guests.
 Frosty=unfriendly and showing that you do no approve of someone or something
 Gloomy=feeling sad and without hope
 Wet=someone who is wet does not have much confidence or determination

 Under a cloud=with your reputation damaged because you may have done something wrong
