In Taisho-era Japan, Tanjiro Kamado is a kindhearted and intelligent boy who lives with his family,
he has become his family's sole source of income after the passing of his father. Everything changes
when his family is attacked and slaughtered by demons (oni). Tanjiro and his sister Nezuko are the
sole survivors of the incident. Nezuko has now become a demon, but still surprisingly shows signs of
human emotion and thought. Tanjiro becomes a demon slayer to help his sister turn human again and
to prevent the same tragedy that happened to him and his sister from happening to others.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (Japanese: 鬼滅の刃 Hepburn: Kimetsu no Yaiba) is a
Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotōge. It has been serialized in Weekly
Shōnen Jump since February 2016, with its chapters collected in 17 tankōbon volumes as of October
2019. The series is published in English by Viz Media and simulpublished by Shueisha in English and
Spanish on their Manga Plus platform.
An anime television series adaptation by Ufotable aired from April 6 to September 28, 2019. The
series won several awards at the 2019 Newtype Anime Awards, including Best TV Anime. Immediately
following the airing of episode 26 of the anime series, a sequel film was announced and is scheduled
to premiere in 2020.
Boku No Hero Academia
Typical student Taiju Oki tells his science-loving friend Senku Ishigami that he will confess his feelings to
their classmate Yuzuriha Ogawa. He prepares to make his confession to Yuzuriha under a camphor tree on the
school grounds, but his attempt is interrupted when a bright light appears in the sky. Taiju pushes Yuzuriha to
the tree to protect her as the light petrifies them along with the entire human population. After 3700 years
spent trapped in stone, Senku and Taiju are somehow revived from their petrified state six months apart in
what they now call the Stone World. Senku discovers that petrification can be cured with nital, and intends to
rebuild their civilization with Taiju's help. They intend to use it on Yuzuriha first, but a lion attack forces them
to revive martial artist Tsukasa Shishio instead, before later successfully reviving Yuzuriha. A conflict of ideals
leads to Senku's group forming a Kingdom of Science in Ishigami Village to restore civilization and uncover the
mystery of their petrification while Tsukasa establishes an Empire of Might to create a new world free of
technology where only pure-hearted youths are revived.
Dr. Stone (Japanese: ドクターストーン Hepburn: Dokutā Sutōn) is a Japanese manga series written
by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi, serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since March 6, 2017 with the
individual chapters collected and published by Shueisha into ten tankōbon volumes as of April 2019. Viz
Media licensed the manga in North America. Shueisha began to simulpublish the series in English on the
website and app Manga Plus since January 2019. An anime television series adaptation by TMS
Entertainment premiered on July 5, 2019.
The Rising Of The Shield Hero
Naofumi Iwatani, an easygoing Japanese youth, was summoned into a parallel world along with three other young
men from parallel universes to become the world's Cardinal Heroes and fight inter-dimensional hordes of monsters
called Waves. Each of the heroes were respectively equipped with their own legendary equipment when summoned.
Naofumi happened to receive the Legendary Shield, the sole defensive equipment, while the other heroes received a
sword, a spear, and a bow, weapons meant for attack. Unlike the other heroes who are fully supported by the kingdom
and gain several strong allies each, Naofumi's luck turns to the worse after his single companion, revealed to be the
kingdom's Princess, betrays him, steals all his belongings, and leaves him devoid of all assistance and supplies after she
falsely accuses him of sexually assaulting her.
The Rising of the Shield Hero (Japanese: 盾の勇者の成り上がり Hepburn: Tate no Yūsha no Nariagari) is a
Japanese light novel series written by Aneko Yusagi. Originally published as a web novel in the user-generated novel
site Shōsetsuka ni Narō, the series has since been published by Media Factory with an expanded story-line featuring
illustrations by Seira Minami. As of June 25, 2019, twenty-two volumes have been published.
The novel series was adapted into a manga series by Aiya Kyū and published by Media Factory, with thirteen volumes
released as of April 23, 2019. Both the novel and manga series were licensed by One Peace Books and were published in
North America starting in September 2015. The 25-episode anime television series adaptation produced by Kinema
Citrus aired from January to June 2019. A second and third season have been announced. The anime series is licensed in
North America by the Crunchyroll-Funimation partnership.

Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma (Japanese: 食戟のソーマ Hepburn: Shokugeki no Sōma, lit. "Sōma of the
Shokugeki") is a Japanese shōnen manga series written by Yūto Tsukuda and illustrated by Shun Saeki. Yuki
Morisaki also works as a Contributor, providing the recipes for the series. Individual chapters have been
serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since November 2012, with tankōbon volumes being released by Shueisha.
As of April 2019, 34 volumes have been released in Japan. The series is licensed by Viz Media, who has been
releasing the volumes digitally since March 18, 2014, and released the first volume in print on August 5, 2014.
An anime adaptation by J.C.Staff aired between April 3 and September 25, 2015. A second season
named Food Wars! The Second Plate aired between July 2 and September 24, 2016. The first cour of the third
season, referred to as Food Wars! The Third Plate aired between October 4 and December 20, 2017. The
second half aired between April 9, 2018, and June 25, 2018. A fourth season entitled Food Wars! The Fourth
Plate premiered on October 12, 2019.
The series is set mainly at Totsuki Saryo Culinary Institute, an elite culinary school located in Tokyo, Japan,
which only a handful of students graduate each year. Its students mostly come from Totsuki's junior high
school, but transfers are taken provided they pass the entrance exam. The campus is a wide-ranging resort
with many research societies (clubs); cooking classrooms, and large arenas used for competitions. Housing
varies, but the most affordable is the Polaris Dormitory, where characters have to impress the dorm matron
with a dish in order to secure residence. Totsuki also runs a chain of resort hotels; with the biggest being the
Totsuki resort; run by Gin Dojima, which is visited during the course of Soma's first year at Totsuki.
