III.PROCEDURES
Ask learners who among them are working and what kind of work they have.
A. In their workplaces have they ever meet any accidents?
Springboard/Motivation In what way they have encounter accidents in their workplaces?

Teacher will present the topic Hazards in workplaces and its types.
B. Activity (Review of “The Lucky One’s”
previous lesson/s or Learners will pick a piece of small paper in a box. In every piece of paper
Presenting the new has a drawing of smiley face and sad face. The persons who got a smiley face will be

The 4 lucky learners will be given an envelop and inside it is the definition
of the four types of hazards.One definition each learner. Each of them will paste
the correct definition to the correct type of hazard and explain it to their
classmates.
Introduce to the class the four types hazards in workplaces. Let them give
some example of each hazards.
Group Activity 1
Group learners into two groups. Let each group to think one place they
have worked or places with which they are familiar (Ex. Construction
Site)Participants will give examples of possible hazards that can be found in the
workplace they choose. Then write it the correct categories.
Check their work using Handout 5.4 which states the example of hazards
in the workplace.
Group Activity 2
Give different picture to each group which can be found in hand out 5.5.
Each group will find all possible hazards in the picture assigned to them.
Check their work using handout 5.4
