LEADERSHIP ENHANCEMENT WORKSHOP

“Learners of today, leaders of tomorrow”. If your actions inspire others to dream more,
learn more, do more, and become more, then you are a leader.

July 26, 2019, the Supreme Student Government of Batac Junior College headed by the
President, Crisan Marc C. Calderon together with his officers and the other co-curricular club
members attends the A.P.S.C.U. Ilocos Norte Laoag City – Batac City Chapter S.S.G. Leadership
Enhancement Workshop in Dingras Town Auditorium, Dingras, Ilocos Norte. They are with the
school Principal, Ms. Melitona C. Asuncion and the two S.S.G. advisers, Mrs. Agnes T. Fagaragan
and Mrs. Abigail C. Antonio. It is a one-day training full of activities that helps and enhance the
leadership skills of the attendees. The speaker, Prof. Lemark Bernal Viloria is the one who impart
his knowledge about leadership to the leaders from the different private schools of the entire Ilocos
Norte. They knew that leaders should not stop from learning. They need to explore more because
as the Mayor of Dingras says “Hindi lahat ng tama ay alam mo at hindi lahat ng alam mo ay tama.”
Indeed, it is a reminder for all the leaders that they shouldn’t limit their knowledge and even their
capacity to do better. They need to learn and learn more so that they are knowledgeable in different
aspects. They also tell that a leader should become an inspiration to his/her members so that they
will work hard to have a great job. They need to feel their thoughts with dreams and grab every
opportunity that is and will be given to them because this might be the reason which they could do
something great, not just for themselves but for everyone. Leaders need to have its own vision and
his/her goal is to influence his/her members to follow its vision because a leader without his
member is nothing as well as if the leader’s members does not support his ideas then nothing will
work out. Leaders should not complicate things because the simplest solution is the best answer.

Anyone can be a leader, you just to believe in yourself that you can lead the people around
you. Remember that leaders should be an inspiration to his people then, you can be one of them.
