Abstract

The purpose of this research is to overcome the problem of pollution in our seas by creating a

trash bin that we hope would greatly reduce the adverse effects of water pollution. The trash

bin is powered by a solar panel, kept afloat with a few floats and operates with the help of a

pump system. This contraption would operate as a kind of filter system that drives in water

along with nearby trash. When the bin is full, the pump will pump out the seawater in the bin

to allow for more trash to be trapped in. To conclude, by creating this machine, we could

minimise and control the effects pollution has had on our seas. The hypothesis is supported.
