My Favourite Place

I have suffered a big deal lately because of being away from this heaven on earth.
Well, actually there a lot of beautiful places in the world more than this place. Maybe
most of you rather choose other places like cafe, beach, mountain, park, or mall to
become your favourite place. But somehow I just can’t stop thinking about how much
I want to be in this place. There is some reason why my beloved home becomes my
favourite place in the universe.

My house is the most beautiful place. The colour is soft orange on the outside with an
orange front gate and white on the inside. Even though my house is bigger than other
house in my environment, it has a simple architecture and shape. It is consist of three
main bedrooms which is one is my bedroom, one is my parent’s bedroom, and the
other one is the guest bedroom. My house also has two bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining
room, a garage, two living rooms, a family room with a television inside, a shed in the
side of the house, a little green garden inside the house, and also a large backyard
which is connected with the front garden. But the best part of my house for me is my
room and the backyard. My room is the most comfortable place in my house because I
can design it any way that I like. It has a television, desks, cupboard, some shelves,
books, a lot of dolls, lamp, and wall decorations. My room is where I can chill out,
being my self and do whatever I like. Then, the next best part of my house is in the
backyard. Why ? because it is surrounded by green plants with a fish pond, a
basketball hoop, and a gazebo on it. This is the place I used to relax and play with my
little brother.

Pati regency, my hometown is a regency in the northeastern region of Central Java

Province, on the island of Java in Indonesia. The Regency is divided into twenty-one
districts, one of them is Wedarijaksa which is my district. It is located quite far from
the town, so does my house. It is located in the countryside area which is far from the
town. To get to the town it takes 30 minutes by car. Therefore, my house is
surrounded by many rice fields because the soil is fertile. So, if you come to my house
you will be served with the views of many fields, such as rice fields, sugar cane fields,
corn fields, onion, and also spinach. It makes my area still beautiful, green, and the air
is still fresh. This is the other reason why I love my house so much because it is really
peaceful and quiet.

Both of my parents are originally domicile from this area, so most of my big family
member are here around me. I have a lot of neighbours too. They all are so nice,
respect, care, and selfless people which are makes us close to one another. In the
countryside area like my home, the sense of family and the social between one people
to another is still tight. So do my friends, I have a lot of friends here. As you know, I
spent my elementary school, junior high school, and senior high school here. They are
such great friends, I am very lucky to have them. They all are also a fun and humble
friends. I get a lot of love here in my home because of them. That’s why I missed my
home so much lately because of this warm atmosphere.

Last but not least, the reason why my home becomes my favourite place is my home is
part of me, it is become my history. My house was built when I was a child, and after
it is done, my family and I immediately move to the house. That is when all of my
good, sad, mad, and silly moment with my family begin there. I grow and thrive my
personality there. All of the moral lessons that I get and learn from my mother and my
father is there. There is where I belonging, the place I become my self. I feel safe and
comfortable there. My home is like a silent witness of my life journey from zero to
hero. I spent my childhood and youth in this place. Until now, I have to go to college
and separated 207 kilometres away from my beloved home and family.

And here I am, still struggling with my longing passion. Every single day here I
always hope to be at home with the warm love from my family and friends, playing
with my little brother in my room and backyard where I can do anything that I want,
enjoying how peaceful quiet of nature there and become my self again because that is
where I belonging. Every time I have a free time two or three days, if I can go home I
will certainly go home. Because home is where there is someone to love us.
