PRAYER LETTER FOR JULY 2019

August 2, 2019
Dear Friends,

Psalms 34:19, 20 says “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. He keepeth
all his bones: not one of them is broken.”
Psalms 35:10 “All my bones shall say, LORD, who is like unto thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong
for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?”

In July, we taught and preached about the human skeletal system. Though this may sound strange, it was quite amazing to
see the reception of the Word of God as we applied so many truths related to the corresponding spiritual analogy our
“bones”. Our people needed reproof, encouragement, and edification, and they certainly received all of this!

We praise the LORD for souls saved this past month. We saw people saved in our evangelistic efforts in Sacatepequez
(village work) and Guatemala City (church & Rescue Mission). God is good, and we are grateful for letting us go out and
proclaim that Jesus saves!

We had church van problems this past month. While heading up the mountains to do village work, our engine suddenly
overheated, and seized. We had to send our workers home on public transportation (which isn´t fun here!) For several
weeks our church was van-less, which means our attendance dropped somewhat. Needless to say, we worked frantically
to repair it, and praise God its back in service! I want to thank the churches that gave sacrificially towards this need.

We rejoice that we had a new deaf couple join our church this past month, Alex and Cindy. We had a special activity in
which one deaf preacher, Brother Gustavo Orellana preached to them in the colonial city of Antigua. There was a total of
22 deaf in attendance. Continue to pray as we continue teaching and preaching to these precious souls.

We continue ministering to the alcoholic and addicts in the Hope Rescue Mission. Each week we see an average of 45
patients. Our team consists of about 10 soul winners, including 2 medical professionals. God has been doing a mighty
work in the lives of so many of these men and women. Please continue to pray for this outreach. There is never as
shortage of attendees!

August is Bible Emphasis Month. We plan to purchase and distribute many copies of Scriptures and portions. We will be
teaching and preaching all month of the Doctrine of the Scriptures.

Thank you, and may the LORD continue to bless you!

For souls,

Brother CA Donate
Matthew 9:35 “And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel
of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.”
