Unforgettable Nightmare
A nightmare I remember was when I’m fifteen years old, I was in second grade of
Senior High School. That day was a tiring day for me because I just got home from Paskibra
training to prepare for flag-raising ceremony, around 7.30pm. When I got home, I immediately
showered, ate and prayed Isya. After that, I felt very sleepy and finally fell into a deep sleep.
Actually at that time, I had a lot of homework that I should to collect next day, but I was too
tired to finish it at that time. You can imagine how hard it was for me that day.
That sleep brought me into my nightmare. So, here is the story. One day, when I was
woke up from sleep, I was very surprised because the clock showed 6.50am. Whereas, my
school entrance hour is 6.45am and from my home to school spent about 15 minutes. So, I
immediately take a shower and get ready in a hurry. Then my mother immediately took me to
school.
On the way to school, road is very jammed and from the distance looks people were
crowded around the roadside. It made me feel furious and want to break through the traffic jam
because I was terrified that I would be late. Apparently, just had an accident and the victim
suffered a serious broken leg. When passing through him, I saw a lot of blood around him and
his left leg seemed to come loose, only covered with cloth and it was quite disgusting for me.
My mother and I then proceeded to my school.
As expected, I was late so I got punished to sweep the school’s hall and the principal’s
room. Another awful thing was no one late that day except me. As I remember, I swept the
school until after school hours and it was very tiring. Plus, I didn’t have time to breakfast in the
morning because it was very rushed and it make me starving. What a nightmare!
It was the end of my nightmare story. In the real life, my mother woke me up 4am for
prayed Subuh and didn’t let me go back to sleep for some reason. First, so that I’m not late.
Secondly, because I have slept a long time. And also I have time to finished my homework.
Thank you mom♥, because of you that nightmare not become real.
