Introduction
This document details general guidelines for Indent order commission settlement with vendor foreign
liability.
Overview
When you perform Indent order commission settlement, you must consider to ensure the selected
Free text invoice is in foreign currency and their exchange rate is reflected on the screen and also
make sure after making selection of free text invoice the available open foreign vendor invoice are the
right one and their invoice exchange rate are reflected correctly on the screen.
b. The indent commission settlement list page will show all of the indent commission
settlement which have been settled with vendor foreign liability by using this
functionality.
f. The above screen is selected with new Indent commission income with vendor liability
settlement number which is by default selected if you get this form from other than list
page then you need to press new button this will generate you new indent commission
income settlement number for your reference.
i) By selecting invoice combo you will get the list of all indent billing
classification related free text invoices which yet not selected for
payment received or settlement by using this functionality.
Control: At this stage you need to make sure that the above
selected invoice should be in foreign currency and their exchange
rate exists at this tab, otherwise you will book commission payments
of invoice booked in PKR value which is not related to our solution.
eg;
If commission exchange rate is greater than the vendor invoice
exchange rate, the system will debit the exchange gain and loss
account with differential of exchange rate.
vii) After successfully completion of the above step you need to press
post button this will generate one not posted payment.
After successfully posting process this will message the created not
posted journal number.
viii) You need to copy the above journal number and go inside
Accounts Receivable>Journals>Payments>Payment Journal:
Control: At this stage after you make sure that the journal
represents correct value with correct account head.
xi) After posting you need to go customer list page and select the
customer account as follows:
Once the marked total amount is zero you need to press the Update
button this will settle your transactions.
xiii) After customer settlement you need to settle the vendor settlement.
xiv) After settlement you need to check the ledger from internal account
statement in order to make sure that the whole transactions have
been accounted for correct, similarly you need to check ledger from
vendor account statement.
