ABOUT THE COURSE

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an examination that primarily tests
the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and sci-
ence. GATE is jointly conducted by IITs & IISC. Some of the merits of clearing GATE are:-
The GATE score of a candidate reflects the relative performance level of a candidate. The score
is used for admissions to various Post- Graduation program. GATE score is also being used
by several PSUs for recruiting graduate engineers in entry-level positions and is eligibility criteria
for studying abroad such as National University of Singapore. GATE score is required for PhD programs.
