Fashion Forecasting

- Design or sketch – in the fashion or clothing industry, it is very important to have a unique and
appropriate design and style for your target market. The company assures that the designs are
what is on trend and appropriate for each season.
- Pattern design (Layout) – the layout or design of each clothing must be finalized. The company
makes sure that every detail of the clothing design is measured accurately. It includes the type
of cloth or fabric and other needed raw materials in making or producing the clothing item.

PRODUCTION

Production schedule

- Acquisition of raw materials – the company acquires raw materials which are based on the
required and appropriate materials for the design of clothing. The quality must be assured.
- Production pattern – a certain flow of production in the company must be observed accordingly
and orderly to avoid waste of items.
- Production process
 Spreading and Cutting – the clothing materials goes through series of machines for fabric
spreading and cutting. It is to obtain a specific size and measure.
 Pattern making (based on design) – on a piece of cloth, a pattern is made to serve as the
guide and basis in making the clothing item as a whole.
 Sewing – through workers and machines, the fabrics or any clothing materials are fastened
to make an actual piece of clothing item.
 Inspection – first stage of inspection is done to ensure that every detail of every item was
done properly according to the aimed design of the company.
 Finishing – final touches and fastening of the items is done.
 Final Inspection (Quality Assurance) – the final inspection is being done to make sure that
every item is free from damages and is now ready for packaging.

PACKAGING

- Packing the finalized and furnished items in a safe and appropriate packaging. It must be sealed
until ready for selling.
SHIPPING

- Delivering to different branches – the items to be sold to the customers are being delivered to
assigned branches in the area that is being managed by the employees of the company.

- Basis in producing new clothing type or style.

Service company: GrabTaxi Holdings Pte. Ltd or simply branded as Grab is a Singapore-based technology
company that offers ride-hailing, ride sharing and logistics services through its application software.

THROUGH CELLULAR DATA OR WIFI

Potential passenger of Grab:

 Download the Grab app and register on the system – the Grab App is available for all
smartphones. The passenger must go to the App Store or Play Store to download the app.
After downloading the app, the passenger must register by signing up. Personal details must
be filled up especially the passenger’s contact details. Verification will follow.
 Location-sharing – in order for the passengers to be accurately located, he/she must allow
the app to access its location.
 Booking GrabCar/Taxi via app – the server of the app will let the passenger proceed to
booking a certain type of Grab car and lets them put their pick- up location and their specific
destination. A certain amount will appear referring to how much it will cost for that ride.
With that, after confirmation of booking, a Grab driver near the passenger’s area will accept
and respond.
 Accept a message or phone call from driver – the passenger and driver communicate
through phone call or chat if there are some important information to be relayed. It is
important to know if there are occurrences for both parties to be aware.
 Grab a ride – as the Grab the driver arrives, the passenger could now ride the car and must
confirm the he/she is the passenger.
 Payment – after reaching the location, the passenger must pay which could be in terms of
Grab Pay, credit card or cash.
 Feedback on system – the passenger will submit his/her rating to the driver or Grab
experience via submitting star rates. The passenger could depend on the driver’s attitude or
if he/she safely arrived at his/her destination.
 New booking process – after arriving on the specific destination, he/she could now book
again whenever he/she wants.
Driver’s side:

 Download the Grab app and register on the system - the Grab App is available for all
smartphones. The company will provide its drivers a smartphone if they don’t have any.
Company’s requirements must be followed accordingly to secure that the drivers are well-
trained. The driver must go to the App Store or Play Store to download the app. After
downloading the app, the passenger must register by signing up as a driver. Company’s
requirements must be followed accordingly
 Location-sharing – the driver must always turn on its cellular date or wifi. He/she must share
its location accurately to detect potential passengers.
 Accept job via app – if a passenger was detected and requested a ride, the driver must
accept it by confirming it.
 Make phone call or message the passenger/s – the driver must communicate to the
passenger about his/her situation to inform the passenger if there are some circumstances.
 Give ride to passenger – the driver should now go to the passenger’s pick-up location by
going to fastest or shortest route possible.
 Receive feedback and reward – if the passengers give a high rating and positive feedback
about the driver, the driver will be prioritized with the bookings. Also, he/she gets a reward
for performing a well-done service.
 New job accepting – nearly or after dropping off the passenger, the driver could now accept
new bookings from potential passengers.
