ASSIGNMENT REST AND SLEEP

BUCOT, MARIA ALIZAH L.
COURSE/SECTION: BSA – TS 3 SCHEDULE: TUESDAY 9:00-11:00am
COURSE CODE: COPE 14 INSTRUCTOR: MR. JUNREL ABONG

How beneficial to the body do getting enough rest and sleep?

Getting enough rest and sleep are just one of the things I usually get deprived of because
it is not my priority being the stressed-busy-always college student that I am. But, it is indeed
not a recommendable routine of mine. Being deprived from rest and sleep comes with a lot of
negative effects especially to my mental and physical health. With that, I strongly believe that
these two things should now be our priority alongside our goals. Because if we disregard these,
we might not be able to reach our goals. Rest and sleep would help us ease our body and our
minds. As a result, we would be able to function and think well. For some of us, maybe, staying
up late to study is the best solution to know everything, but for me, after a long exhausting day
at school, it is better to rest and sleep first before studying. With that, our brain cells would
function more effectively. Resting once in while is also a must for it helps our body produce
natural supplements that would boost our immune system. Having a strong immune system
would help us avoid acquiring viruses or diseases.
