The question for this section

For this week's assignment we ask you to get up close and personal with the
structure of your favorite aircraft or spacecraft.

The assignment consists of the following parts:

1. Find photos or cut-away drawings of your favorite aircraft or spacecraft. (Use

Google images, visit the NASA website or look at the Flickr account of Flight
International as you can nd a lot of drawings there. If you can get access to
Jane's all the world aircraft or spacecraft through your library, that will also be a
great help as well as looking in old-fashioned printed books whilst you are
there.). If you cannot nd anything on your favorite because it is still "too secret"
than select your second favorite to do this assignment.
2. Observe the main structural elements and indicate them in the drawing.
3. Finally, discuss what particular functions they have in this aircraft or spacecraft
considering their use.
4. Compile all of this in one pdf document and upload it to edX.
We look forward to your submissions and we will try and highlight some of our
favorites in our weekly update of 18 September!

I think i have understood some 'not so common' structural members by
studying about this in detail. I can improve the knowledge by exploring further
into the key aspects of structural design adopted for the chosen aircraft.
