CHAPTER 5

CONCLUSIONS

Paul encourages the singles to remain that way for the furtherance of God’s

ministry, so that they will have time doing the work. Encourage those who wish to

marry to do so to avoid any sexual misconduct.

On the part of Titus and 1 Timothy, Church leader must have one wife or must

have one husband, worthy of respect, manage his family and more. Church leaders

must meet the following requirements to qualify himself.

The interviewed male Church workers responses show a worldly view:

freedom, no boundaries, financial matter, sexual needs, loneliness, responsibilities,

and etc. They remain single for personal preference.

The participants reveal that they chose to remain single for five years.

Due to the “financial issues.” Most financial issues in marriage come down to

one main factor. Arguments about money hamper many marriages when it comes to

marital problems, financial issues are respondents’ leading weakness, behind

infidelity. Respondents believe they are incapable of marrying now due to financial

crisis. On the hand, respondent responses to the question portraying personal reasons,

age norm “they found themselves not ready for everything, because of their age

descriptions (standard) and probably of huge responsibility. The Respondents believe,

rushing into marriage can lead into an unfavorable result. Being young has different

desires in life and in relationships. This can vary greatly with time, as it can cause to

gain greater maturity and perspective. Overall, the respondents expressed two factors

in remaining single for five years in their ministry because of “Age” standard and

“financial issue.”

The single life is often portrayed as being fun and carefree, but there are

monetary, social and workplace disadvantages as well. The single life offers a degree

of independence and freedom from the need to compromise with another person.

However, being single means having to carry the burden of a household alone,

without a partner to help.

When the respondents asked about the advantages and dis-advantages of being

single. The participants enumerated some of the obvious; “Freedom, lesser expenses,

and easy decisions making.” Meanwhile, singles have the freedom to do everything,

In fact, being single can be a huge advantage,” when you're single, you never have to

clear ideas with a second person and you never have to compromise. This makes

decisions a lot simpler and allows for extra savings opportunities.” You're also not

responsible for anyone else's doubt or even their wants.

Getting married comes with an invisible thread that requires you to be bound

to some sort of commitment. It is not tangible but it's there. You get a feeling of being

trapped and this is what that makes a marriage complicated these are the top 3

answers enumerated by the respondents the fears of responsibility, financial issues

and emotional and attitudes conflicts.

In every relational status of life comes with both advantage and dis-advantage.

Actually, the challenges of life are blessing. So, embrace the pains, experience and

enjoy the benefits of life offers. Embrace the abundant life Christ offer in our life that

is available in our singleness and even in marital status.

The bottom line is, be thankful, be positive , let God shape our expectations in

life and It is fulfilling God’s will in our life comes the true source of happiness. He is

the source of our total satisfaction in life. Life is not about us, it is about giving Glory

God shaped us into His Purpose.
