1.1 About the proposed system
The proposed system is highly secured, because for login the system it requires
the Email and password which is different for each department therefore
providing each department a different view of the customer information. This is a
Web system and it will give the company the feature of Promotion of Salon and
maintaining the record of all with the detail of Customer Name, Id, Contact and
Email ID Services when did the Customer join the salon and end for the Applied
Services of salon .It Manages the schedule of a customer.

1.2 Objectives
Beauty Care and Salon is a web based application that is developed using PHP
and MySQL. The objective of Beauty Care and Salon is to develop a web based
application using which customer can take online appointment for beauty
treatment. It provides various packages related with beauty care and treatment.
The secondary goal of this system is to provide tips related with beauty
treatment.
 Data Management.

 Reducing Work Process Time.

 Increase in Performance.

 Beauty Salon Promotion.

 Greater Efficiency.

 Better Service.
1.3 Purpose
The salon Management requires a system that will handle all the necessary and
minute details easily and proper database security accordingly to the user. Their
vision is to facilitate the process of helping a person to be strong, balanced and
flexible - mentally and physically. In order to help a person to achieve beauty
goals. Different type of Package is offered to client depending on their budget
and skin tone Other facilities like home service are offered to Customers .The
salon is working manually. The system is time consuming and also it is very
costly, because it involves a lot of paperwork.

1.4 Software and hardware requirements

 Front end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
HTML: HTML is used to create and save web document. E.g. Adobe
Dreamweaver, Notepad++.

1. CSS : (Cascading Style Sheets) Create attractive Layout

2. JavaScript: it is a programming language, commonly use with web browsers.

 Back end: PHP, MySQL

1. PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) is a technology that allows software
developers to create dynamically generated web pages, in HTML, XML, or
other document types, as per client request. PHP is open source software.
2. MySQL: MySql is a database, widely used for accessing querying, updating,
and managing data in databases.
