NARATIVE REPORT

The youth is the hope of the Fatherland. As a student enrolled to the subject NSTP under
CWTS it’s already imparted to me that we had that opportunity to lead a certain community with
a certain goal even though we are still youth. Under CWTS all students cleaned an assigned places
given by their trainers like what we have done we cleaned the surroundings of DMMMSU NLUC
Campus. Each group have their designated area to be clean. We had also a discussion about
community and its subtopic, the do’s don’ts wherein we can be able to be conscious on what
happening on the preparation for our final requirement a community immersion .Sir Charlie
discuss to us this topic at the ABM building and as far as I can remember he also discuss the
elements of community, the Demographics that characterize in the movements of population.
History that identify a certain patterns of change and peoples way of adapting these change.
Economy that talks about the economic system of a country. Income that can identify the level of
level. Culture that comes from the word cultura means cultivation where in it defines as the way
of living of people and lastly the Structure. We had also the privilege to meet the Air Force for
their ROTC Orientation. ROTC is also under NSTP but we are under CWTS and I have that
privilege to inform about ROTC, our visitors from AFP tackle about the Republic Act 9163 that is
the new IRR of NSTP Law. They also define ROTC as programed designed to provide military
training to tertiary level students to motivate, train, organize, and mobilize them for defense
preparedness. ROTC was started in 1939 by virtue of E.O 207 by President Manuel L. Quezon.

During the second semester we also had a program entitled Mr. and Ms. NSTP 2019
wherein all groups must have their participants for the pageant. It is good to have those kind of
program its because you can showcase all your hidden talent and intellectuality not only service
but also beauty and brain. There is also time that our trainers let us discuss as a group to discuss
about the community immersion to be done our leader assigned a designated position and
responsibilities for his members to do.

Lastly our community immersion we the BSA IC chose Sapilang Day Care Center to be
our beneficiaries for our Literacy Program. We had 15 children and we conducted a spiritual
discussion about David and goliath for entertainment for the children we also prepare games and
prices for them. Despite of the long preparation and many strength and most especially money
loose we are proud to say that we are very happy and blessed to have that opportunity to conduct
some community immersion not only for help other people but the most important thing is we used
and share what we had learned for the NSTP subject and the experiences that we can able to use
for our journey for the rest of our lives.
