In Volume XXXIII year 1519-1522 by
Antonio Pigafetta.
By Antonio Pigafetta.
He is one of many participants of the
expedition of that voyage. Also, served
as an assistant to Ferdinand Magellan.
He served as Magellan's assistant and
kept an accurate journal to their
expedition.
The Author wanted to document their
journey across the globe. He wanted to
detail the events and experience. He also
made it to serve as his memoir,
something he could go back to and
archive.

Because the King of Spain requested the
captain to send one boatload of men so
they might help him and fight against
the other chief. Magellan decided to go
thither with three boatloads.
