Good morning to the headmaster, teachers and friends. As the head prefect, with great

pleasure I would like to give a speech on one of my favourite topic , “ Food “.

Our country, Malaysia, is a very exciting place when it comes to food. With its many

ethnic groups like Ibans and Kadazans, there are many types of glorious food in Malaysia.

Let’[s just concentrate on the three main races which are the Malays, Chinese and Indians.

Each has its own unique and special food. The Malays like spicy food with lots of herbs, for

examples “ nasi lemak”, “nasi kerabu”, “nasi dagang”, satay and “ ikan bakar”.

The Chinese love soy sauce in their food. We have rice porridge, soups , mix

vegetables and various types of noodles. Indian food is uniquely hot and spicy like the “ nasi

beriani”, “ chapatti” and curry. So , let’s be proud of our glorious food and enjoy them.
