Kangaroo Math Competition (Kangaroo) is currently the world’s largest math competition
with more than 6 million participants from 82 countries in 2019. In Kangaroo 2019, there
were more than 42,000 participants representing over 1,300 schools from all over Malaysia.
The contest originated from France and is administered globally by Association Kangourou
sans Frontieres (AKSF). Each local contest is organized locally by a national organizer.
Kangaroo has been organized in Malaysia since 2013, by Kangaroo Math Malaysia. This competition is
endorsed by Ministry of Education Malaysia and participants are eligible for Pentaksiran Aktiviti Jasmani
Sukan dan Kokurikulum (PAJSK) marks.

Starting in 2020, Kangaroo is working together with an educational mobile app, to provide
practice exams for Kangaroo participants, complete with solutions and explanations. All Kangaroo
participants will receive a special price for Pandai annual subscription, and in return, Pandai subscribers
receive full benefits including a daily quiz for math and science subjects (aligned with the DSKP standard for
KSSR/KSSM national curricula), competition preparations, and other interactive educational contents.
