IV. PROCEDURES
A. Preparation:
• Greeting the class.
• Checking of attendance.
• Setting of Class Rules

B. Presentation:
A. Reviewing previous lesson or The teacher will be asking the students about the previous topic
presenting the new lesson by asking them the Materials of kitchen utensils and equipment
commonly found in the kitchen. Ask them to give examples.
Follow up question will be raised to see if the students really
understood the topic. From the review of the previous lesson, the
students will see the connections of the previous discussion from
other subjects.
B. Establishing a purpose for the Today’s objectives will be presented to the students, for them to
lesson be aware of the expectations.

C. Presenting Examples/Explicit Picture Analysis:


Instruction/Teacher Modeling Are you familiar with the different kitchen utensils commonly found in
the kitchen? Ask the students the kitchen utensils that they have at
home and let them discuss how they use. (The teacher will show
pictures to the students) The students will name the picture and
explain the use of it.

These activities are designed to enhance student’ creativity,


critical thinking and communication skills.
D. Discussing new concepts Unlocking difficulties: The teacher will present jumbled letters of
and practicing new skills #1 difficult terms that they may encounter during the discussion. The
Guided Practice teacher would ask the students to arranged the jumbled letters
and give their ideas about the word.

It will strengthen student’s literacy skills. From the activity, the


teacher will also let the students see connection of the topic
within and across the other subjects.
E. Discussing new concepts The teacher will help the learners target the concepts by

From the discussion, the teacher will also let the students see the
connection of the topic with the other subjects/disciplines

The teacher will post a picture and the students have to classify
the type of kitchen tools according to its use and then dramatize
the use of the utensil assigned to them.

After the group tasks they will be presenting their outputs in front
of the class.

These activities are designed to enhance students’ creativity,


critical thinking, and communication skills. Working in groups
will also help them maximize their strength and develop their
weakness.
