Education
Realignment of Syllabus
The Syllabus of CMA qualification has been realigned with the purpose to enrich the contents so as to incorporate
standards, concepts and practices adopted globally. The special care has been taken to add those areas of knowledge that
are globally accepted, followed and practiced. The review of syllabus also eliminated inadequacies, repetition of content
and improper sequence of various topics in the courses.
The major emphasis has been given to presentation and case studies in this syllabus. In order to ensure classroom learning,
the percentage of students’ attendance has been increased and class tests have been introduced whereby students are
required to score specified marks. The presentations and case studies, class tests and class attendance are also being
made part of eligibility criteria for appearing in the examination.
It is expected that these improvements in the syllabus, learning methodology and examination eligibility criteria would
enhance the spectrum of knowledge and benefit the students in their market acceptability within the country and abroad.
