The potters of sumulong

In a school that is constantly stirving and developing students if Juan sumulong high school is placed
as contestants at different events, And the preparation made for them is no joke.There are yunes that
they have to sacrifice their academics practices and lesson to gain their needed capabilities.

The pressure that each contestant feels during this process is most unbearable being in a situation
where you represent the name and reputation of your school at the same time maintaining your grades
each day can make any student pressured and stressed .imagine the weight on their shoulders that they
have to carry each day

Sumulong’S RoboticS team poiSed to be betteR

Juan sumulong senior High Robotics team participated in the World robotics Olympiad (WRO).
Friendship Invitational in lapu- lapu City,Cebu on august 31 September 3.

The robotic team had 18 apponents representibg varius participating countries including power
houses such as Russia,China an U.S, Thy finished 6th out of 30 public and private schools after scoring 85
out of 19o points in food ditripbution in th Philippine robotics Olympiad (PRO)
The team was composed of of dale Cerbito,team coach ,Jayvier Tubo and Florence Miguel,teams
top notch programmers, Ordanel Obane a Mater Builder and adet runner in their roaster .

Sumulong’s team used Ev3 Lego Kit and two high technique color sensors whicjh were donated by
juan sumulong alumni association, The task was to distribute the food blocks into their corresponding
color ,As a beginner in the field of robotics ,Competing in WRO is stressful yet , filled filled with
accomplishment and pride,” Jayjier TUBO said

Jshs – shs participates at work immersion 2018
To maximize the student time and increase workplace learning through the information of work
immersion ito k to 12 model of juan sumulong high school (SHS) students participated in the on the work
immersion and the partnership program 2018

Starting August 2017 JSHS Conducted a lac session meeting for acdemics and TVL advisers untinl
march 2018 was the actual student work immersion and student classroom engagement ,the JSHS faculty
and coordinator for work immersion reaches and work together with all stake holders as it advocates
Education and training.
