I hope you are doing well.

My name is Harsh Mehta and I have recently joined IIMA’s 2-year PGP program 2019-2021 batch. Having
spent a week at the institute now, I have gradually started to realise what an immense privilege it is for
me to be a part of this family. Reading about the achievements of our esteemed alumni like yourselves
and the rich contributions made by IIMA alumni spread across the world has already been a great
learning experience.

As part of the orientation program of the new PGP batch, the Consult Club of IIMA has planned a series
of events themed on “India at 2025 – A $ 5 Trillion Economy”, a focus area of the Govt. of India as
outlined in the Economic Survey of 2019-20. These events will see participation from top experts from
the Academia, Business Leaders, Public Intellectuals and Policy Experts from India and abroad. These are
aimed at generating several ideas for the consideration of our Policy makers. These will be collated and
published as a coffee table book at the concluding event.

I am writing to you to invite you for the first of these events, a Webinar on a sub topic of the theme that
the institute will host. Your recent article in Business Standard “The Infrastructure Action Agenda” will
definitely give new dimension to the industry and your webinar will help young minds like me in many
ways.
