EXPERIENCE

Senior Software Developer 07/2010 - Current

PCS-COMPANY
 Developed T-SQL stored procedures, user functions, tables and advanced queries to build
company’s parts catalog database.
 Developed Raspberry PI Python Flask web site which queries a SQL Server database to display
the shops number of days without an accident.
 Created Power BI reports used to provide shop managers drill down capabilities of past and
present statistics of shop floor output.
 Developed Raspberry PI Python application which queries a SQL Server database and displays
workloads on all CNC machines on a 16x16 led matrix.
 Support and enhance company’s Sitefinity 6.0 website: http://www.pcs-company.com .The original
website was outsourced and never functioned as required. I had to completely rewrite the
ecommerce functionality using ASP.NET webforms and custom widgets, which are ASP.NET user
controls. WCF web service are called to obtain customer discount information from our JD
EDWARDS financial suit and place the customer order.

 Designed and developed the WPF eQuote application used for creating customer quotes for
company’s special-order mold bases. Database CRUD routines were accomplished using LINQ to
SQL and ADO.Net. Strategy, Factory, Abstract Factory, Command and Decorator design patterns
were also used during design phase.

 Designed and developing an ASP.NET MVC4 web application. This application will be used by
the company’s order entry department to take orders for standard plastic mold bases. Customer
information will first be entered then a configurator page will allow the user to select the
customer’s configurations and create a bill of materials containing the corresponding components.
Finally, a WCF service will be called to insert the order into jdedwards and automatically schedule
the job into the scheduling application that I previously created by calling the Windows Workflow
routines. JQuery and KnockoutJS is used for client-side event handling.

 Developed WPF MVVM application that allows the order entry department to query data from the
quoting database, modify the bill of materials, enter the customer information and post the order
into JDE. There’s also a button that will schedule the job onto the shop floor CNC machines
which I created the class libraries and databases used for scheduling. The scheduling application
has allowed the company to increase shipping mold bases from $25K to $80K a day.
 Developed Silverlight, WF, WCF, SQL Server and Lightswitch applications to schedule the shop
floor. Initially created a MS Workflow application to determine the tasks that are scheduled to the
six different machines. Next, wrapped the WF application inside a WCF service to be used inside
a MS Lightswitch application to allow users to easily enter customer information and then
automatically schedule the jobs. Information is pulled from the eQuote database which is
populated by a WPF application I developed for quoting customer orders. Finally I developed the
Silverlight applications so machine operators and other departments can check and update job
statues. Also created reports for the application using SSRS.
 Developed SQL Server database and MS LightSwitch Requisitions application. This application
allows the user to enter an electronic requisition request which then is then routed to the
appropriate manager. The manager can then approve or disapprove the request by simply
clicking a radio button which then emails the result to the requester and to the purchasing
department.

Senior Application Programmer 03/2010 – 04/2010

Custom Business Solutions –in-house contract project
 Developed T-SQL stored procedures, user functions, tables and advanced query’s, such as
cross joins and cursors, in SQL Server 2008, used to develop a common data layer, (CDW),
between the Ariphron patient registry database and the CDW reporting database. The CDW
database will then be used to produce PQRI reporting. PQRI establishes a financial incentive for
eligible healthcare professionals to participate in a voluntary quality reporting program. This
project was created by the Medical Advantage Group.
 Documented workflow with UML Sequence and Activity diagrams.
 Utilized SVN version control.

Web Application Programmer 01/2009 –07/2009

Epitec Group – Contract at CareTech Solution
 Designed, coded and implemented career profile enhancement that allows users to apply for
multiple positions at Memorial West Hospital’s web site. Tools used were ASP.NET, ADO.NET and
SQL Server 2005 stored procedures: http://www.mmcwm.com/careers/default.aspx
 Developed Flash ActionScript 3.0 application to display hospital locations within Oakland County:
http://crittenton.rtrk.com/ - click on ‘Maps’.
 Support and enhancement of Classic ASP web site for Barnes Jewish Hospital.
 Developed SQL scripts and stored procedures in SQL Server 2005.

Senior Application Programmer 12/2007 – 12/2008

Custom Business Solution – Contract at Comerica Headquarters
 Analyzed MS Access reports and converting them into Crystal Reports.
 Created stored procedures, tables and views within a SQL Server 2005 database for reporting
purposes.
 Maintaining and supporting C# and ASP.Net applications.

Senior Application Programmer 12/2007 – 12/2008

Custom Business Solution – Contract at Comerica Headquarters

Senior Application Programmer 06/2007 – 12/2007

Resource Smart Workforce – Contract at Chrysler Headquarters
 Developed stored procedures for the Factory Information System within a Sybase database.
 Resolving VB6 and C++ issues found within the Factory Information System.
 Worked on project porting VB6 application into C#. This was done by creating a main window
form the called in VB6 ocx objects using the AxHost wrapper class.
 Created Java server side application to read messages from the MQ Messaging server and used
JDBC to call a Sybase stored procedure, which I developed, to insert the data from the queue.
 Developed User Case stories and UML diagrams.
Analyst Programmer 11/2003 – 05/2007
Mount Clemens General Hospital – now Macomb Mclaren Hospital
 Developed JAVA/J2EE Patient Care System. All screen interfaces are developed with SWING
components and database access is achieved through the use of Enhanced Java Beans deployed
on a Weblogic application server. All application configurations are written within XML files and
parsed through the application. Sybase is the current database but the application is developed
so it is database independent.
 Incorporated Object Oriented Design Patterns such as Singleton, Session, and Façade patterns.
 Developed VBA Excel 2000 macro to produce a doctor productivity spreadsheet. This
spreadsheet contained both numerical and graphical information of the medical procedures and
turnaround time that each doctor performed within a given period. The spreadsheet uses ADO to
access Oracle 9i stored procedures that I written specifically for the spreadsheet.

Further employment history can be given upon request. 11/1987 – 05/2007
