Scientists ... (11) that increase in these gases in the atmosphere will make the Earth a warmer place. They expect a
global rise in the average temperature of 1.4. to 5.8 Celsius degrees (2.5 to 10.4 Fahrenheit degrees) in the next century.
The average ... (12) has in fact been rising. The 1990s were the warmest decade on record, and 2005 was the warmest year
on record. Some scientists are reluctant to say that global warming has actually begun because climate ... ( 13) varies from
year to year and decade to decade, and it takes many years of records to be sure of a fundamental change. There is little
disagreement, though, that global warming is on its way.

How to use:
Caution:
Fruits are a source of nourishing substances that keep us alive and healthy. For example, they contain many
vitamins, especially vitamins A and C, and many minerals, such as calcium, potassium, and zinc. They also provide fiber
for a healthy digestive system and carbohydrates that the body needs to make energy. They don’t have a lot of calories to
make us fat.
People use fruits for many things. We make juices from them. We cook bread and pie with them. We make jams,
jellies and sweets. We freeze them to eat later. We even make alcohol from fruit. Beer comes from grains, wine comes
from grapes, and some brandies are made from plums, apricots, or other fruits.
But most of the time, we don’t do anything special with fruits. We eat them fresh, just as they are!

Love
Dad and Mom
Once upon a time, there were two butterflies, Teri and Romi. They are friends. Teri and Roni had the same crown.
One day, Kodi a frog, saw Teri and Romi quarreling “You took it!” said Roni “No, I did not” said Teri.
“Hey, what’s the matter?” asked Kodi.
“Teri stole my crown” said Roni.
“No, I did not” said Teri.
“Yesterday, I still had my crown when she came to visit me,” said Roni.
“Today, I cannot find the crown! Look! She is wearing it!” Roni shouted.
“My mom gave me this crown,” Teri explained.
Kodi suggested they all go to Roni’s house.
“Where did you put it?” said Kodi to Roni.
“I put it on the table,” Roni answered.
They didn’t find the crown.
“Maybe, it fell down.” Kodi looked under the table. Nothing was there.
“It was my favourite crown!” Roni sobbed.
“ I didn’t steal yours, but you like it so much, you can have mine,” Teri gave roni the crown.
“It’s here!” Kodi saw the crown behind the curtain.
Roni stopped crying, “Thank God, Kodi found it!”
“Sorry, Teri, I accused you. I’m a terrible friend!”
“It’s OK ,” said Teri. “Let’s say thanks to Kodi!”

The hare was once boasting of his speed to the other animals. “I have never yet been beaten,” he said,
“when I put forth my full speed. I challenge any one here to race with me.”
“That is a good joke,” said the hare, “I could dance around you all the way.”
“Keep your boasting till you’ve won,” answered the tortoise. “Shall we race?”
So a course was fixed and a start was made. The hare darted almost out sight of once, but soon stopped,
and to show his contempt for the tortoise, lay down to have a nap. The tortoise plodded on and plodded on,
and when the hare awoke from his nap, he saw the tortoise just near the winning-post and could not run up
in time to save the race.
Then, the tortoise said, “Slow but steady progress wins the race.”
