Anecdotal Note: Describe what you saw the child do and/or heard
the child say.

I sat down and had a conversation with Arianna before breakfast about her big trip. I asked, “did
you have fun on your trip to Florida?” Arianna responds with, “yes I did!” With a smile on her
face. I asked, “who did you go see?” Arianna says, “my grandma Sherry.” I asked, “did you get to
see the dolphins?” Arianna with a smile still on her face responds with, “yeah I did.” I asked,
“what color were the dolphins?” Arianna says, “they were a pretty black and white.” I asked, “did
you get to see the dolphins jump?” Arianna said, “yes they jumped a lot! They just jumped
jumped and jumped some more.” Arianna looks at me and says, “I have something I want to tell
you.” I responded with, “what do you have to tell me Arianna?” She said, “ the dolphins splashed
water everywhere when they jumped and they jumped really high.” I replied with, “what if we
could jump like that out of the water?” Arianna got up and jumped while saying. “that would be
great!” I then asked her, “how was the weather in Florida?” Arianna sat back down and said, “it
was very nice there I wish I could stay there for forever!”
