This musical event will be held on September 6, 2008 at the Avenue Plaza Convention Center in Naga
City. It will gather many of the Bicolandia’s music lovers and art patrons.

stage this event.

A Major Sponsorship will cost P30,000.00. This could either be in cash or kind.

The Bicol Lyrics, unknown to most Filipinos and even among the Bicolanos themselves, is one of the
most sublime and profound pieces of literature.

If you consider that the Bicol language had produced an epic called “Handiong,” one of the only two
epics ever written in the Philippines, one will realize that indeed, the Bicolano language could produce
lyrics of immense beauty and nobility.

This is the main reason for this event: “LETRANG BIKOLNON” - Rediscover the Bicol Lyrics.” We will
“expose” the beauty of our language and in the process make the Bicolanos proud of their language,
their heritage and their culture.

Supporting us on this event are some of the best Bicolano lyricists, singers and musicians. We are truly
