1. General definitions of music include common elements such


as pitch , rhythm , dynamics and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture .
Different styles or types of music may emphasize, de-emphasize or omit some of
these elements.
2. The music of Southeast Asia reflects different aspects of Asian culture through its
timbre, rhythm, melody, texture, form and style. Thai melodies with Western
classical music. The most popular and famous form of Indonesian music is
probably gamelan. The music of Cambodia is derived from a mesh of cultural
traditions dating back to the ancient among modern Cambodians that
the music was "incorrect", "out of tune" or "uncouth" when compared to
western music or to Chinese music. The feature of Myanmar traditional music is
mostly based on percussion with the beautiful blend of
various musical instruments and melody making traditional Burmese music a
multi-leveled hierarchical system.
3. First I will respect it, and share it to other Filipinos so they could know about it,
playing the music of the 4 countries so that the Filipinos would hear it.
4. Yes, knowing the music of Southeast Asia will help you understand it, and by
understanding it you will appreciate the music of Southeast Asia.
5. Maybe no, because our generation today is different from the 21 st Century, our
generation today consists of advance technology compared to the 21 st Century.
