The groom family starts sending luxurious clothes, precious pieces of jewelry and expensive perfumes to the bride and
her family and this tradition in Dhofar is known as Al Manani. This widely spread tradition reflects the groom’s happiness
as the bride accepted him to be her husband. The marriage contract is the second stage of every Dhofari wedding. This is
usually done in a mosque and sometimes in the bride’s house where lots of people attend this ceremony. the wedding
ceremony takes place.
Women celebrate it either in a wedding hall or in the groom’s family house. Later, the bride’s brother takes her on his car
to the groom’s house to start a new life with her husband.

Traditional Wedding in Turkey includes four stages : asking the bride’s hand , the agreement , the engagemant
and the Wedding ceremony .When the two families agree on details , preparation for the ceremony begin. Wedding
ceremonies are generally start on Tuesday and end on Thursday, or start on Friday and end on Sunday. Costs and expenses
of wedding are met by the bridegroom’s family.
A day before the wedding ceremony the bride organizes Henna night with her friends and the groom's family.The
girls and women are invited to this night and they took part in this special event. All the groom's family members go to the
bridal home by cars to take the bride and her family to the wedding hall. There everybody has a big dinner in which
traditional Turkish meals are served . People dance and listen to traditional songs. After about three or four hours gift
ceremony begins and the couple stands in front of the platform and guests who want to give them a present .
