Dear sir/madam,
I am writing to ask about the transfer credit program and the scholarship program for
transfer credit student.
My name is Farid and I am second years at Jenderal Soedirman University, Indonesia
with majoring Diploma International Business Program. I am personally greatly
interested to continue my study in your university. I would like to know there are
transfer credit program in Cambridge University? How to apply for transfer credit at
Cambridge University? and there is scholarship program for this?

Thank you for your email.

It is not possible for a student to transfer to Cambridge to pursue only part of a degree course or finish
their degree course. All students must start in the first year of our three or four-year undergraduate
programmes. 

We do have a system of admitting graduates from other universities to study for a second
undergraduate degree as an affiliated student at Cambridge, in which case the course takes two years
instead of the usual three. If an applicant would like to do this when they have graduated, they can find
more information on the affiliated students section of our website. 

In the case of a student from the EU or overseas, a number of Colleges are prepared to consider an
application from visiting students to spend a year at Cambridge. This will not lead to a Cambridge
qualification, and is therefore only of value if their present institution is prepared to recognise it as
contributing to its own degree course. Only a very small number of such students are taken each
year. Further details of which Colleges consider these applications and the criteria for admission can be
found on the visiting students section of our website.
