1. Introduce yourself?
I am Hunza Khalil. My date of birth is 3-jan-1998. I am from Pakistan.
2. What is your course name and duration?
The course name MSc management with project management and the course duration is 1 year.
3. Are you fit and well to be interviewed today?
Yes, I am fit and well to be interviewed today.
4. Why did you choose UK for your studies?
As you know UK is a developed country. It has countless high quality education institutions including
all fields of studies. Moreover, Study in a developed country like UK makes my abilities to approach
multinational companies to work because UK degree has high worth all over the globe including
Pakistan. Also, UK has cultural diversity and high living and learning standards.
5. Why did you not choose other countries like Australia, US, Canada?
The fee of universities in these countries is higher than UK. Culture of these countries differs because most
of the people in UK are hospitable and multi-culture of UK attracted the most of the people around the
world. Moreover, health and living facilities are cheaper in UK as compare to these advanced countries.
6. Have you consider this course in any other country or in Pakistan?
Yes, I had considered this course in my country but as an additional subject in semester V of my under-
graduation. I had grip on economics subjects during my studies that’s why I have started learning tools of
project management a different subject that help me in fulfilling my dream of becoming a project manager.

7. Which specific aspects of this course attracted you to it? / Why did you choose to study this course?
First of all it is my personal interest to choose project management course because it has high
employability ratio as compare to MBA in all over the globe including Pakistan. Also, Project managers
can get high salaries and approach senior level positions like CEO (Chief Executive Officer), CMO
(chief management officer), and CFO (chief financial officer).
8. Do you know the modules/structure of this course?
The structure of BPP course is divided into following three terms
Term 1: Personal Effectiveness (15 credits)
Leading through digital disruption (15 credits)
Global Strategy and Sustainability (30 credits)
Term 2: Data Driven Decisions for Business (15 credits)

Also there are some other non-credit modules that help students to adjust the university study and time
management. These modules are career profiling and skill assessment.

9. Why BPP course?
I choose BPP course because the chapters of this course are better than other universities and this course has
non-credit bearing modules like career profiling and skill assessment. These courses help us to adjust
university work and time management.

BPP University has flexibility in the assessment of its courses even these are online or on campus. The
assessment of this course is done in following two ways
• Coursework
• Examination

Coursework includes projects, essays, little assignments and some presentation that are individually or in
group while examinations include objective type (MCQ, fill in the blank and some short questions) and
subjective type (long questions) that are seen or unseen. The course material is released in advance.

11. Why did you choose this institution and where it is located?
BPP University Ranks first in the Russell Group against 24 Universities. BPP University has 98.1%
high skilled occupation in the employability ratio. The fee of BPP university is less than other universities
and the Scholarship method of BPP university is good than other universities (means BPP adds
scholarship from the start of course but other universities follow the pattern of giving scholarships from 2 nd
semester). And the plus point regarding BPP University is that it offers admission on the basis of
interviews and other universities offers on the basis of IELTS and Pre-sessional English course.

While university is located just a five minute walk from Shepherd’s Bush (London) underground and over-ground

12. Where does the university rank in the field of your course?
Note: BPP University is a private university that focuses on professionals from industry teaching
professionals. As BPP do not have any research-based courses, this excludes BPP from the Complete
University Guide ranking table, where one of the rating criteria is research.
13. What facilities do university offer that are specific to your course?
Following facilities that are offered by the university to this course specifically
• Study near business keys and hubs
• Study with modern resources and latest technologies
• Management of time and university work
• Learning by professionals
14. Can you tell me about the local area / amenities?
BPP University has its educational and training centres near the business hubs and keys. Students learn in
professional workplaces with modern resources and latest technologies. It provides free internet and Wi-Fi
service in both buildings. Moreover, this campus has 16 class-rooms with high audio visual technologies.
15. Which other institution did you consider? Did you apply to these universities?
Other institution that I had considered is Northumbria University. I didn’t apply to this university because the
location of other universities is less effective as BPP University because campuses of BPP University are
near the business hubs and keys. Also, Accommodation near BPP University is good as compare to
Northumbria University. The fee of Northumbria University is high.
16. Where are the other institutions you considered ranked for the course you have chosen? What sites did you
use?
Northumbria University ranks at 651-700. Moreover, I used to observe ranking through Times higher
education university rankings.
17. What were the course entry requirements for the other institutions you considered?
Northumbria University course entry requirement is Bachelors with IELTS and pre-sessional English Course.
18. What were the course fee and the location of all the institutions you considered?
The course fee of MSC International Project Management is 15500 pounds. And university is located in the
Middlesex London (110-114 Middlesex St, London E1 7EZ, United Kingdom).
19. Why did you not choose to study at these institutions?
20. The location of other universities is less effective as BPP University because campuses of BPP
University are near the business hubs and keys. Also, Accommodation near BPP University is good as
compare to Northumbria University.
21. What advantage did this institute have over the other institutes you considered?
Location advantage, fee advantage, scholarship advantage, learning and teaching advantage, and
employability advantage

22. What was the last course of study you completed and when was this?
I have completed my Bachelors in Economics at Government College University Lahore which was
completed in December 2020 and resulted was announced in January 2021.
23. What have you been doing since you completed that course?
As you know the pandemic situation hit the globe severely. Moreover there were worldly lockdown. Also, I
had been improving my English since January to study further.
24. Why have you chosen to resume your studies now?
I didn’t leave studies; I was just waiting for the end of pandemic. Now it is best time to make my dream true
to study further abroad.
25. How much have you been earning since your last completed study?
My first priority is my studies and I have been improving my English since January because I want to study
in UK (A English base country). That’s why I didn’t participate in any earning activity since my degree
completion.

26. What are your future plans?
• It is my dream to manage things from start to end that’s why I choose to study management with
project management for my master degree
• To serve my country as a project manager
• To manage the projects at national level most importantly business and financial projects.
27. Given your previous study history, how will studying this course help you achieve your future plan? OR
Which aspects of this course help you to achieve your future plan?
I completed my secondary school education in July 2014 with (A+) grade from Board of Intermediate and
Secondary Education Lahore. My Intermediate (HSC) degree in commerce subjects in September 2016 with
(A) grade from Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore and the internal awarding degree by
Government College University Lahore. Moreover, I started my BSc degree in Economics at Government
College University Lahore. My bachelor’s degree completion date was December 2020 while the result was
announced in January 2021.
My dream job is project manager, so I choose this course to become a project manager that helps me to
improving my network and management skills.
28. Do you have company in mind to work for?
I have 2 companies in my mind to work for:
• Nestle
• Coca Cola
29. Have you considered any potential future employer if so who?
I think both are potential employers but the most I like to work with Nestle because it has headquarters in my
city and can easily be approached.
30. Have you approached any of these companies?
Yes I had tried to approach these companies after the completion of my bachelor degree but the most of the
vacancies are for master’s degree holder and I have lack of qualifications according to the companies’
requirements.
31. What is your expected salary upon your return to your home country? How did you arrive at this figure?
The average salary of a project manager in Pakistan is about 1500+ pounds [Rs. 250k to 300k]. And I am
pretty sure that I will get this amount because this is starting salary of a project manager. After getting
experience of 3 to 5 years it will become double or more.

The total cost of this course is 10000 GBPs and first instalment is about 6000 GBPs while second instalment
is about 4000 GBPs
33. Are the funds in your account?
Yes, these funds are in my account.
34. Where have the funds in your account come from?
These funds for my studies came from my father’s savings and wealth.
35. Who is funding your studies?
My father is funding me to study higher education.

My father is a Government employee.
37. What is your financial sponsor’s income?
My father’s income is about 800 pounds excluding all monthly bonuses. Also, we have a commercial rented
building of 4 flours. The rent from this building is about 1000 pounds monthly. Moreover, we have 40 acre
agricultural land that is inherited from my late grandfather to my father. The yearly profit of this agricultural
land is 24000 pounds.
38. How many people are dependent on their income?
We are three brothers and the elder one is working at a bank. So, we only two depend on our father’s income.
My elder brother also helps me in my expenses.
39. Why are they funding your studies?
My father knew that I a hardworking student and I want to study further that’s he is funding for my studies.
40. Will you have to pay this money back once you have completed your studies?
Off-course not because he is my father and his complete wealth and income is for us.

41. Where will you live whilst in the UK?
I will live in a single room near Goldhawk road London and it is 1 miles away from Shepherd’s Bush London.
The address of my apartment is Prince Consort Village, 230 Goldhawk Road, London W12 9PL UK.
42. How much will your accommodation cost per week &each month? Does that include your bills?
The cost per month of a good room for one person is 700 pounds per month which is inclusive all types of
bills, Wi-Fi and weekly cleaner. If we talk about another room that is rented on a weekly payment and the
lowest cost per week is 92 pounds for one person in a single room that is exclusive of all types of bills, Wi-
Fi and weekly cleaner. If we talk about the complete expenses of one month that are approximate 1350 pounds
(12006 pounds per year) including housing, food clothing, and other maintenance.
43. How will you travel to your place of study each day and how much it will cost? Where did you find this
information from?
As I mentioned above that it is 1 mile away from Shepherd’s Bush London, so I will walk to reach my study
place from my apartment. I got this information from Moovitapp.
44. Do you have any friends and family in the UK? If so where do they live, what relation are they and what is
their name.
No I don’t have any friend or family member over there.
45. Did you use an agent in your application process? Have you ever met them before your application?
Yes, I use agent’s help in preparing my application. I met him first time through Social Media.
