The kindergarten teachers at Vanderlyn have collaborated to create a consistent virtual learning plan for the next two weeks. All kindergarten classes will complete the same assignments, reading logs, and homework posted on the website kinderves.weebly.com. Teachers will focus on the kindergarten curriculum and learning standards in their digital lessons. While access to technology and parental support may vary, teachers are available by email daily to answer questions about each child's instructional plan. The teachers expect students to continue learning and progressing during this virtual period and will assess students as they complete online assignments.

All kindergarten teachers have collaborated on our virtual learning
process in order to streamline your child’s instructional education during the next two weeks of digital learning. Each kindergarten class will complete the same assignments, homework, and reading logs as part of their virtual learning responsibilities. Teachers are focusing on GKIDS learning criteria and the kindergarten curriculum in designing these digital lessons.
All lessons will be posted on https://kinderves.weebly.com
We understand that the ability to complete the proposed assignments
is dependent on your child’s access to technology, as well as your ability to provide support at home. That being said, please do not hesitate to email your child’s homeroom teacher with specific questions about your child’s instructional plan. Teachers are available for questions or concerns between 7:15 am – 3:15 pm daily.

Teachers will continue to assess student learning as your child completes assignments online. Please note that all instruction, grading, assessment, and teacher conferencing will be done virtually while the building is closed.
We thank you for partnering with us to ensure the safety and continued educational success of all our students.
