efficiently producing quality fresh fruits specifically export quality bananas.
This company is affiliated with Unifrutti Tropical Philippines, one of the most
competitive company that exported Bananas to China, Japan,South Korea,
and Middle East. The company has 380 employees and 6 departments.

CSR

SCHOLARSHIP - scholarship programs are fantastic option for meaningful

and effective CSR beacause they empower the next generation . The T V P I
together with Unifrutti Philippines , offers 14,000 worth of tuition assistance
every school year in elementary and high school, and 52,000 for college.
Aside from tuition, scholars are grant for school supplies, uniforms, and
books. Their Scholarships are exclusive only for their rank and file employees.
PATUBIG - TVPI gives water system to barangays who doesnt have water
source aside from “BOMBA” .

OPERATION TULI - during May 01, labor day, Operation tuli is a yearly
eandeavor of the company as part of their program . This is intended for
young boys that will undergo the practice of custom that is called
“circumcision” as their trademark to manhood.

TREE PLANTING- Environment plays a bigger role in an agrarian type of

business. In the nature of business the Unifrutti have, climate and other

natural phenomenon are the real deal. Thats why the company strengthen

their advocacies to give back to mother nature. They conduct a yearly tree

planting not only here in Davao DeL Sur but other unifrutti plantations. The

trees they planted will function as fence to protect community during aerial

spray. And also to provide more oxygen in their banan craft.

BRIGADA ESKWELA- The company cooperates in National Schools

Maintenance week initiated by Department of Education. They function as

non-government organization that provides volunteers and resources to be

used. They give financial assistance for paints and other staff needed by the

school.

One of their employement policy is the EMPLOYEE HEALTH AND SAFETY.

Hr POV “The health and safety of employees is the primary concern of the

company. Vital information about workplace safety and health issues are
given to employees through regular communication in the form of seminars,

bulletin board postings, Memoranda and through other forms of

communication.” Employee is mandated to obey safety rules , which includes

the use of Personal Protective Equipments provided by the company. Each

employee is expected to parctice caution and common ssense in all work

activities. Employee who violated safety standards , cause hazardous or

dangerous situations, or fail to report or, where appropriate remedy such

situations, may be subjected to disciplinary action.
