DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To ensure that all gas cutting / welding equipment and appurtenances are numbered and placed on a
register.

2. Ensure that all gas cutting / welding equipment and appurtenances is inspected on a monthly basis
against the register and that the findings are recorded as such.

3. Ensure that any serious deviations are rectified immediately and that any other deviations are attended
to as soon as possible.

4. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE MAY ANY UNSAFE GAS CUTTING, WELDING EQUIPMENT OR

APPURTENANCES BE LEFT IN USE.
