2018 to 10th March 2018.
 Working with (Tata Steel) under “Ram’s Enterprises” as a “Safety
Officer” with effect from 11th April 2018 to till continues in service.

DAILY ROUTINE
My work place is outside and as well as in side my office at the unit area whichever is assigned by
my Safety Supervisor. I am the responsible for the security and safety of his assigned area. During
duty time I go around the area regularly, sign work permit. If I finds some unsafe condition
immediately notifies to the worker and communicate along with HSE committee. I am the
responsible to prepare Accident and Incident report in case of any accident. I am the responsible
for safe maintenance and Installation job as maintaining good safety condition. I am the
responsible for good housekeeping as peer 5’s of Assigned area. And I am the responsible to log
clearly all the activities conducted, work in progress wherever applicable, properly handover the
.duties to incoming shift with reference to written information

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:-

 Participates in the implementation of the Safety Management process. Provides a

monitoring function in the assigned and ensure that safe workings practices are being
applied and maintained.
 Visits all facilities and location in the assigned area in accordance with an established
schedule to check plant & mien safety equipment and to undertake a general assessment of
conditions observed.
 Prepares written inspection daily, weekly and monthly reports and submits to Industrial
security & Safety so that remedial action may be implemented.
 When necessary, urges personnel responsible for the location to take immediate action to
minimize the likelihood of accidents.
 Auditing production, keeping on the lookout for any unsafe behavior or breaks in
regulations.
 Assessing risk and possible of safety hazards of all aspects of operations.
 Carries out initial independent accident investigation.
 Prepares reports to senior Technician and liaises with the location supervisor.

  In the event of a serious accident, secures the area until to come of the investigation team.
 Assist in maintaining safety equipment (Such as checking B.A sets), and maintains records
appertaining to such equipment (Such as movement, maintenance and stock level) so that
stock is maintained and in good condition.
 Monitors the permit to work system. Ensure that safe working practices are being followed,
reporting to location supervisor and Safety Fire Officer when violations occur.
 Familiarizes myself daily with work permits issued for my assigned area.
 Conduct a Safety Induction program & does a monthly Safety Lecture.
 Provides on-site advice on maintenance and operation activities.
 On critical jobs such as hot work, provides Safety standby coverage utilizing the necessary
safety equipment to ensure that Safety of plant and personnel.
 Assist in providing First Aid to accident victims.
 Performs other related duties as needed upon request by the immediate supervisor.
 Has daily contact with various levels of staff when inspecting facilities, investigating
accident, checking work permit and assisting in training sessions.
 Exercises independent judgment and initiative in carrying out day-to-day activities in
accordance with established policies and procedures.
 Determining whether the finished products is safe for customers.
 Creating safety plans that include suggested improvement to existing infrastructure and
business processes.
 Reviewing and reporting on the staff’s compliance with health and safety rules and
recommending commendations or dismissal based on performance.
