Engine Oil Level Gauge (Dipstick) - Remove and Install

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the left engine side guard. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Side Guards -
Remove and Install" in this publication.

2. Remove bolts (1) and the washers. Remove the oil level gauge (dipstick) (not shown).

3. Remove bolt (2) and the washer from the dipstick tube and the harness clip. Remove dipstick tube
(3) from the engine block.

4. Remove O-ring seal (4) from the dipstick tube.

1. Install new O-ring seal (4) on the dipstick tube.

2. Install dipstick tube (3). Install bolt (2) and the washer.

3. Install bolts (1) and the washers. Install the oil level gauge (dipstick) (not shown).

4. Install the left engine side guard. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Side Guards -
Remove and Install" in this publication.
